Internship at BJ's

I interned at BJ’s Wholesale Club from May to Aug 2023. Worked on social motion graphics for three ad campaigns, completed three projects for Washington DC’s Nationals Park and Tennessee NASCAR, and redesigned their YouTube channel.

Three different Projects

The Tennessee NASCAR motion graphic was my first assigned project, blending the excitement of a NASCAR pit stop with a BJ’s shopping cart. This dynamic animation created locally themed marketing materials to promote BJ’s new clubs in Tennessee.

Washington DC's Nationals Park OOH Ads

My second project is the Washington DC Nationals Park OOH ads campaign which showcased vibrant visuals on ultra-size LED billboards, promoting BJ’s offerings. Running from August to December 2023, it captivated audiences with bold, engaging designs.

"BJ's Youtube channel Redesign"

This project aims to solve BJ’s video thumbnail Pain points. I found out their YouTube videos lack consistency in thumbnail design leads to losing opportunities. In addition, lack of attention to analyzing existing video data. No guidelines for new thumbnails aligning with brand identity Thumbnails are not optimized to effectively communicate the content of the videos. Therefore, I help the BJ’s team to update their video’s visual for my final project as an intern.
